Favorite bands: We're talking bandom, right? Because if it's listening to in general, that could take all day, so... in fandom, then Panic! and My Chem essentially. For listening, then those and about a million more. *g*
Favorite pairings: Any permutation within My Chem, Brendon/Spencer, Spencer/Dominic Monaghan (not that I've read that but I regularly dream about it)...

Other fandoms: Oh dear... Current, not many. Merlin, Sherlock (the new BBC series),... but I will occasionally read SPN, SGA, HP. Older fandoms I used to read/write in: Lotrips, Dawson's Creek, Buffy, Libertines, popslash...

c. I think the reason get all cynical and conservative as they age is they forget who they are. Bandom is, like, the perfect antidote to that.
